We hold our trainees accountable - but what about the CTO. Is it clear what CTOs are required to do and be to be successful? Here is a document shared by one of our nation's great training programs. Feel free to use. One suggestion - I would highly recommend NOT handling this over and saying do it...have a meeting and give them time to mark each item with a symbol.

Then go through each of the ? or * and discuss - this accomplishes a buy in. Each person could then relate how they feel about the requirements to avoid any negativity around the document. You want them to feel this is a 'good' thing not a gotcha or demonstating a lack of trust in their abilities.
