Sue Pivetta is our consultant. She has worked with agencies on creating training programs, enhancing hiring, problem solving. See our mediation and facilitation page for more on this service. With over 30 years in the industry, Sue has a wide range of experience with training and hiring in the comm center. Her eleven years as a college instructor, working with agencies to place students, Sue gained in depth insight that would add an expert to your team. Her BA in Communications and Adult Learning is an asset to getting your training and trainers effective and dedicated to the best possible process for learning in this unique environment. Sue Pivetta has consulted with the governments of South Africa and Argentina on Emergency Communications Operations and Human Resources issues. Her expertise, experience and insight can be of value for international emergency number systems and Com Center implementation. South Africa Sue worked with the Department of Communications and Booz Allen Hamilton as part of a team selected to conduct a study and offer recommendations for a national emergency numbering and response system. Sue conducted informational seminars and offered expert testimony on issues of hiring, training, and Com Center operational issues. She was involved in the task force to study recommendations for regionalization and consolidation for emergency services. Argentina Sue worked with officials in Moron Argentina in designing the Com Center, writing hiring and training standards as well as Supervisory selection and training guidelines. Sue offered a broad perspective of the responder agencies and their current communications systems. Sue assisted in setting up user meetings and designing agenda for goals, decisions and challenges with the new system.
